My approach is relaxed and very informal. I understand that everyone is different and have specific ideas and aims, therefore each session is tailor-made to your exact requirements. I am a very calm and patient person; I always take time to chat to everyone I photograph and I make sure that the photo session is an enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

Most my portrait sessions take place on location, using the environment as the ‘studio’ – whether it be your home, garden or favourite park. I love working outdoors and with nature as an ever changing beautiful backdrop. I also do indoor/ home sessions, which work well with babies and smaller children. Children feel safe and relaxed in their own home and the photos can be more photojournalistic capturing the child’s favourite toys, room etc. Using your favourite surroundings at home or outdoors gives added meaning to the images and provides endless creative possibilities. I also have studio training and experience and enjoy working with a creative team on commercial and fashion projects.

The timing of the portrait sessions are very flexible, but will typically be between an hour to two hours long. This allows for a variety of locations and time for breaks if needed. Please note that the duration of the session may also depend on the number of people attending the session.
