WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY LONDON – Michelle & Neil – Morden Hall wedding
Michelle and Neil had a beautiful outdoor wedding at Morden Hall, a South London country house set within the Natural Trust Parkland. Their wedding was relaxed and full of emotion! There were so many things I loved about the day; the gorgeous dresses, the cute flower girls and page boys who took their roles so seriously and in the evening completely stole the show on the dance floor; the lovely blush and cream flower decoration by Nicola Eve by Flowers by Eve; the exceptional food served by Morden Hall’s catering team, Galloping Gourmet. But what I loved most of all was how Michelle and Neil managed to make this day so personal and meaningful. They worked with Rosemary Taylorson, a Humanists celebrant to create a unique ceremony which reflects who they are. To celebrate Neil’s Jewish heritage, they stood under a chuppah, a traditional Jewish wedding canopy which symbolizes the home that they will build together. The ceremony ended with Neil breaking a glass, another traditional Jewish wedding custom. To celebrate Michelle’s Christian heritage, they incorporated a reading from the Bible; and they also wrote their own personal wedding vows (at this point I really had to concentrate to keep my eyes dry…). Congratulations again Michelle & Neil!
A huge thank you to my fabulous second shooter Rita Zlatnik for assisting me on the day!
