EMESE & ATTILA – greek orthodox WEDDING in Tata
Emese and Attila got married in August in a small and beautiful town in Hungary, Tata. The weather was really hot and sunny, despite that fact that it was raining the day before and after… I just loved the build-up of the day; witnessing how Emese and Attila prepared for their big moment. It was an intimate and emotional greek orthodox ceremony. I was taken by the wonderful rituals and it was the first time I have seen a crowning ceremony, where the priest crowns the couple as a sign of their union. The reception was held in the nearby Hotel Kristály and we also visited the rather rundown, nevertheless still beautiful and historic Esterházy Castle for some pictures. At the end of the meal, the guest watched a slideshow of the couple’s childhood pictures as well as the images from their engagement session I took previously. It was a fantastic day full and these are some of my favourite images. For the slideshow please (click here).
