A request for fellow photographers and videographers to please consider donating used photographic equipment for International Weddings and Events Service Providers Association (IWESPA) based in Zambia.

I became involved with IWESPA through a lovely friend, Mwai, who had a vision of elevating the wedding industry in her native Zambia and all over Africa. Mwai created the association to recognise professional excellence in the industry as well as nurture and elevate new talent.

I have been involved with the mentoring programme and believe that sharing skills and experience is an amazing way to empower and elevate others. While I was teaching about Lightroom, Photoshop, marketing and other skills, I realised that another way to help local photographers (and to encourage others to pursue this profession) is to build up an equipment library, where photographers could borrow or rent camera bodies, lenses and any other equipment they need. I will be donating my used equipment for IWESPA and If you would like to support this cause, please get in touch with Mwai or me and we will arrange the pickup of the equipment.
